Wow. It’s already Pacific Northwest Historics time again. It’s the race that started racing for SOVREN, and the biggest vintage racing event in the Northwest. Once again, over 150 cars are entered.
By FAR, the best way to enjoy these races is to come out to the track and spectate in person. Tickets are $30/adult and include all three days, July 4-6. Just come out to Pacific Raceways and get your ticket on-site. No limits, no sell-outs, etc. All spectators welcome, and the tickets include full paddock access.
I will probably be live-streaming some of the session. Frankly, I’m on the fence about the benefit of live-streaming versus getting beautiful 4k videos to edit and share after. If I live-stream, the cameras only record in 1080P.
I’ll be racing with a loaner engine (THANK YOU, Rod!) that we’re dropping in at the track on Thursday. If that doesn’t work out, there is a backup plan for that backup plan.
