It’s Sunday morning, September 8. The car is turned around from the Columbia River Classic and back on the trailer. We’re headed east on the big tow, 2000 miles, tomorrow evening, hoping to arrive Wednesday evening.
Fortunately, little #12 didn’t need much work after CRC. I moved the fuel pump to a lower, more centered location hoping to fix the low-pressure issue in long right turns, changed the oil, changed the front brake pads, emptied the catch-can, and gave it a good wash.
Looking at the cell coverage map for the track, I’m hopeful we’ll be able to live-stream, on Twitch as usual (https://twitch.tv/bugeyeracer). If we get there Wednesday evening I’ll be able to test on Thursday’s test and tune day.
Here is the race schedule (click for a bigger version):
We will be racing with Austin Healeys from as far away as the United Kingdom and Australia. At the moment the Healey/Spridget field is about 51 cars, including 30 Spridgets!
I’ll add more here over the next couple days…check back!
